RU-1ST courses provide students the resources to successfully complete college and prepare for life after graduation. Courses are available for first-year students including the RU-1st Transition Course, Byrne Seminars, and First-Year Interest Groups. Continuing students courses provide opportunities to prepare success in college and life skills for post-graduation.
Courses prepare students to transition from college to graduate school and/or a professional career. These courses prepare students for graduate school, life skills, financial literacy, and careers in S.T.E.M.. The courses and workshops would work closely with existing Undergraduate Academic Affairs units, including the Aresty Research Center, University Career Services, and the Learning Centers to prepare students for post-baccalaureate pursuits.
